Carder89 has a newer deck inspired by this one: Team Axe RtM
The great location control that spirit has, prompted a change in the balance of this deck. Frodo Baggins is added instead of Thalin to get through the locations quicker. It gets especially easier to play The Riddermark's Finest and Northern Tracker quickly. While it is nice that Thalin can deal with Eastern Crows efficiently, they can be easily handled by the heroes. It also lowers my starting threat which helps against some of the treacheries of the Encounter Deck.
