Variation of the Elves of Lorien Starter Deck using only cards from the same set.

Ideally suited for a 2 players game, it shifts the focus on bringing a lot of damage to the enemy, especially when not engaged by the player, and quickly obtaining a nice first line of allies.

It shines particularly in Escape from Dol Guldur, since the Vilya ability to put in play allies bypasses the 1-ally-per-group limit in 1B e 2B quests, and you can deal easily with most of the enemies you'll face once your ranged characters will get attachments.

Pros:

  • Elrond+Vilya combo, probably the best in the entire game, empowered by Celeborn's Response;
  • Elrond's resource pool grants a lot of flexibility;
  • Can deal lots of ranged damage thanks to the Bow of the Galadhrim attachment and the plethora of ranged characters;
  • Can deal attacks to enemies in staging area thanks to Haldir of Lórien and Hands Upon the Bow;
  • Keeps the good Silvan tactics of swapping in and out of the game to fully benefit from Response effects;
  • Keeps the great Henamarth Riversong + Wingfoot combo (be sure to use the former after Combat phase to avoid nasty Treacheries or Shadow effects);
  • Really good healing once you get Silvan Tracker in your game, thanks to Elrond's Response;
  • Moderate card acceleration.

Cons:

  • Really high starting 33 (to be dealt with Elrond's Counsel and Galadriel's Handmaiden);
  • High average resource costs (might be a problem until you get Vilya);
  • Severe lack of defensive capabilities (to be dealt with a defense-focused deck from another player);
  • Non-ideal initial (to be dealt with allies swarming as soon as possible);
  • Deck is pretty limited until you get Vilya in your hand (it's probably a good idea to mulligan, hoping to get it).

Some tips:

  • add some cards to accelerate the search for attachment cards, since they are quite few;
  • an "attachment return from discard pile" card would also be useful for certain sceneries;
  • if you need more ranged characters, I'd go for another Orophin or a Galadhon Archer; Rúmil has a way too high resource cost (you can only get it from Elrond's pool) unless put in play thanks to Vilya - still, it would lose its effect if played this way.

How are you buying the non-ally Tactics cards? Vilya seems way too unpredictable. Also, The Tree People is worth three copies.

Wingfoot has to be attache to a HERO, Henamarth Riversong not possible

I don't think Wingfoot is supposed to go on Henamarth Riversong; they just synergize.

(be sure to use the former after Combat phase to avoid nasty Treacheries or Shadow effects)

let me think he want to use him twice, but you are probably right, on the other hand the other facts: using vilya without deckcontrol and have nearly unusable tacticcards let doubt.......
