This is an RCO deck built with only cards from the revised core, Fellowship of the Ring, and Elves of Lorien Starter. The sideboard includes cards from the rest of the RCO that may be worth considering during deckbuilding as you expand your card pool.

This deck is geared around bringing high value cards into play with Elrond and Vilya. Gandalf and Wizard Pipe will allow you to stack the top of the deck and always know if it's worth exhausting Elrond for the free card play.

With Gandalf and Elrond, high starting threat is a concern. Eleanor is added for access and low starting threat, but you'll want to try and find an early Elrond's Counsel or The Galadhrim's Greeting to buy yourself a bit more time to get your board state set up. Vilya is a critical set piece however, and you'll want to mulligan if you don't get it in your starting hand.

Elrond will be doing the heavy lifting for defending, and there is a lack of good defensive attachments in this card pool, so you'll want to get a Citadel Plate on him and rely on healing instead. Getting him an Unexpected Courage so that he can defend and use Vilya in the same turn is another priority.

The deck is a bit event heavy, so you should hopefully get lots of opportunities to play the top card of the deck with Gandalf.

This is a deck that gets better the more high cost/high value cards you add to your card pool that you can cheat in with Vilya.
