Opening hand should have Steward of Gondor to get on Hirulin, with Lord of Morthond if possible. Want to get Armored Destrier and Gondorian Shield on Beregond quickly so that he can take those 6 attack enemies early. Pass the Dunedain Remedy around to handle damamge. Extra shield on Hirulin if you have it. After being hammered by the Pelennor Fields quest with decks, I finally broke down and gave in to the dark side, a.k.a. Outlands, just to beat it solo one time!
I found that stalling on the second quest stage by simply defending the Wraith with a 6 defender allowed my to build up enough ally swarm to destroy this quest. With luck and a turn 3 Gondorian Shield, this quest is quite doable.
