Two Armies Become One

Description

A combination that takes advantage of the wiser Noldor elves and the battle-hardened dwarves of Erebor to smash through most quests with a combination of willpower and enemy assassination.

The Noldor deck can alleviate combat pressure during the early game, as well as pumping out willpower with Arwen and Glorfindel. Meanwhile the Dwarves take the first turn off, building up to explode on turn two with the full five-dwarf/mining engine. At this point, the dwarves should have an eye on pulling out the Erebor Battle Master's, while the Noldor look to find the Warden of Healing's, setting up their own healing engine. Both sides have constant threat reduction, the dwarves with Nori and the elves with a series of Elrond's Counsel's and Galadriel's Handmaiden's.

Once the engines are running, both sides can put out stupid levels of willpower, with the elves healing off direct damage and the dwarves soaking it up. For combat you'll see the dwarves take 70% of the enemies, blocking with Dwalin, Dain Ironfoot, or (worst case scenario) chump blocking, then smashing down with two or three Erebor Battle Master's for 7, 9, or even 17 attack each. Meanwhile the Noldor can take on the overflow, with defence from allies like Galdor of the Havens or Gildor Inglorion, then attacking with Glorfindel, Erestor and the odd ally to finish.
