Here is a solo deck which I have been working on for the past week or so. I tried to include some cards which I havent used much before for a bit of variety, but I'm a sucker for lore an it's so hard not to include Master of the Forge in every deck! This deck just beat The Weather Hills which is nice as I have been beating my head against that quest for a few days now.
The deck is based around Haldan's unbelievable ability and getting Na'asiyah pumped up for combat, with Glorfindel as backup.
The deck already starts with low threat and cards such as Galadriel's Handmaiden, Woodmen's Clearing and Elrond's Council help to keep it that way so that you don't get overwhelmed by enemies.
All the location attachments go on, well, locations so that Haldan can stay stood up and join in the fight. Card draw is courtesy of Haldan and Ancient Mathom. Erebor Hammersmith and Master of the Forge help to draw the attachments you need and recycle them from your discard pile as required.
Firyal is a real help for solo players. You will be unlikely to ever be able to afford to get her and Jubayr into play, so try to time it so that you have one of them in hand when exploring a location with Elf Stone attached. Elf stone and Woodmen's Path is a great combo to pull off.
When it comes to combat Unexpected courage should go on Na'asiyah first, then the spares on Glorfindel, then Haldan. Raiment of War is the only tactics card in the deck so that the resources can be saved for Na'asiyah's ability. Raiment should go on her first, then Glorfindel. This will give Na'asiyah 5 defence and 5 attack when used with her ability. Glorfindel ca be used for adding to attacks/attacking a second enemy; and Haldan will be ready most of the time as he doesn't exhaust to quest when the active location has an attachment, so he can join the fight too.
The remaining cards are focused around clearing lcoations, questing and there is a little healing too courtesy of Warden of Healing the the (in my opinion) underplayed Ioreth.
An ideal opening hand would be Firyal, an attachment or two for the active location, a Light of Valinor (for Glorfindel obviously) and maybe some threat reduction.
