I have had good success with this deck playing the LotR Saga solo. I beat most quests on the first attempt. I made it through Moria without having to fight the balrog. Helm's Deep required a few tweaks to beat on the second try.
I finished The Treason of Saruman but haven't yet played The Land of Shadow. I don't understand why we're supposed to use the same heroes. It would make more sense if we were forced to use different heroes without the permanent threat increase.
Sideboard: Path of Need for Helm's Deep, Celebrian's Stone for Fellowship Aragorn, and Power of Orthanc for conditions.
