My first published deck. I recently got into this game last fall and have been having a ton of fun either playing solo, cooperative with my wife or in a group of four friends battling our way through the sagas.
Ever since playing The Third Age for GBA back in the day, I have enjoyed Grima and Saruman (since the rest of the playable evil characters in that game are random orcs) and the fact that you can play them in this game was something I had to try out.
For heroes I paired Erestor with Grima to be able to get both the cards and resources flowing once Grima discount + Orthanc/doomed + Songs get going. For the third hero I needed someone to actually help fight/quest in the early game, and since Grima always wanted Eowyn, I have paired them up in this reality for her love to explain his goodness and fight against evil.
I also enjoy Ents and they naturally augment the getting more for less theme here. Especially being able to play Treebeard or Sword-Thain with a single rounds resources thanks to Grima which helps to pay for more of their wooded kin.
So far it has performed exceptionally and I've been having a ton of fun with it. Thank you for taking the time to check it out!
