wow a spirit pippin deck that doesn't suck and isn't a troll, who knew that was possible

you read that right, this deck is not a troll and is actually really good! for once in his life spirit pippin is not the worst hero in the game, all because of Bilbo Baggins. their synergy is simple, Bilbo needs enemies to be in the staging area, and pippin allows you to send enemies back to the staging area to fuel Bilbo's ability. Pippin's ability also isn't limited to once a round either. if you aren't ready for a defense then send as many enemies back as you want. there are several ways to pull enemies out and one combos with the other portion of the deck. Sting will grab an enemy and after you claimed it, put it on Bilbo with some fast hitches and you can defend and attack to do even more damage to enemies. even just on declaration of defense or attack you get to deal damage and you can cancel an attack against an enemy. another is wait no longer which we can put engaged with us and then send it back to the staging area. another is dunedain hunter who lets us do the same as wait no longer but we don't get to reveal one less encounter card. how do we get so much damage on enemies so we wont have to take many defenses? well that's where the other half of the deck comes in. Ranger bows allow us to pick off enemies in the staging area thanks to pippins ability, that job becomes so much easier to do. the whole idea is to use bibo and the ranger bows to kill enemies and eventually win the quest.

opening hand should have peace and thought or master of the forge. dunedain hunter is also fantastic to fuel Bilbo early on. the deck is pretty simple so enjoy and have fun
