I've been wanting to make a deck around new Faramir that didn't revolve around Ents. I also didn't want to go full Gondor as that restricts me a little in terms of heroes (it's too tempting to use Boromir and then it just spirals into regular Gondor swarm). Instead I decided to go with the Grima-Aragorn duo and focus on just all around good allies within these two spheres (mostly Ents, Gondorians and a few uniques). Between all the resource acceleration/cost reduction as well as card draw, we shouldn't have too much trouble flooding the board with powerful allies to ready with Faramir's ability.
The strategy is simple. Mulligan for Steward of Gondor or Keys of Orthanc. The hero you play the first of those on will depend on the cards in your hand at that time. With Master of the Forge to look for the other attachment and Errand rider to move resources around it shouldn't be hard to easily pay for whatever cards you have in your hand. Play as many allies as possible, and since most of the deck is allies, A Very Good Tale should always bring one or two more. Once you have a sizable company, you can make good use of Faramir's ability, which works great in conjunction with the Ents, Gandalf and Galadriel, A Very Good Tale, the Veterans who get huge thanks to Doomed, etc. Once you have Sword that was Broken on Aragorn, you shouldn't have much trouble questing. Opinions are welcome!
