A general good stuff deck made from the collection that I own so far. Getting these packs have been...hard, but I've managed to get them at a reasonable price so hooray!

As you can tell this is a general Elrond + Vilya build. There isn't any specific scenario this deck targets, just rather a general goodstuff deck made to withstand many different scenarios and challenges.

Fan-made rules I operate under:

  1. 50 card main deck + 15 card sideboard. You do a "run" of scenarios starting with the first scenario of the Core Set/Deluxe Expansion all the way until the end of it's cycle.
  2. Nothing in the deck can be changed except by swapping cards in and out of the sideboard.

With that being said some choices I deliberately made:

  • While Elrond's multi-color ability is fantastic, I feel like making it a focal point of the deck makes inconsistent results. I've seen him combo with Gandalf - which isn't a part of my collection yet - but aside from that I think most of the strongest allies in the game that I own fall under Spirit and Lore. So I'm ok with sticking mostly to those two colors outside of a Beorn or Erestor cameo here and there.
  • I really don't see a need to run multiple copies of most of the unique allies aside from Gandalf. Just my opinion though.
  • If you can't tell, Bifur and Eowyn are sideboard replacements for Aragorn and Glorfindel. However I'd only side them in if I knew the scenario wasn't very combat heavy.
  • I'm mostly happy with my ratio choices on cards but some scenarios might require more copies for stuff like Northern Track and Burning Brand. Pretty much the entire deck includes every Spirit and Lore card I would generically play no matter what so I'm mostly happy with it.
  • Dwarven Tomb is just in case I need to bring back a Test of Will or a Hasty Stroke for them awful treacheries. :(

Suggestions are welcome.
