Marcelf has a newer deck inspired by this one: Kahliel The Wanderer

Grima looks very promising, but my first deck with the new Grey Wanderer contract will be about Kahliel and Leaf Brooch.

Leaf Brooch makes Sneak Attack or Timely Aid free.

contract's action lets you ready Kahliel from Captain's Wisdom AND get 2 resources.

The rest of the deck just builds itself... this new contract looks amazing!

How are you able to play Celduin Traveler and Ithilien Lookout? Even if they’re free with secrecy, don’t you still need a resource match on Kahliel?

They are not free. They cost 1 in Secrecy. Also, the contract says you don't need a resource match for the first card you play in planning phase, so you can play one of them in planning phase, and/or put into play others with timely aid or avgt.

@Marcelf Ah, I was wrong on two counts, lol. I thought Leaf Brooch would make them free but that only works for events in the hero’s printed sphere. Man, that contract looks amazing.

Instead of Steward of Gondor you could probably use Resourceful. It's a bit more multiplayer friendly.

@Flrbbthis deck was built with solo in mind. But I agree Resourceful is a good swap for Steward. In this case you can't play Lord of Morthond so I would suggest to add We Are Not Idle or more allies like Rivendell Scout.

@TegyriusYou'll soon have more than 5 charcaters, and kahliel can ready with his ability if needed, so I don't think I would play Strider here.
