The White Wizard 544
This deck is a basic mono-lore deck with a good amount of scrying and lots of card draw. Vilya is only in the deck to provide Elrond with spirit. Discard effects are also a big part of the deck. This is also predominantly a support deck, although it should work well in solo. Protector of Lorien goes on Galdor and Elrond. Use it for boosting Galdor's willpower and for Elrond's defense. Enjoy!

May 24, 2016Unfortunately, I don't own Song of Travel, so Vilya is my only option for the spirit icon. Plus, depending on the situation, Vilya's action can be nice when Elrond's defense isn't needed. I like Elrond's Counsel because it's free and also gives a willpower boost, which Gandalf doesn't have. |

I like the deck- it seems solid, and I like how it works well solo as well as multiplayer. It's nice to see some of the old Lore events make a resurgence. One question, however- if, as you say, Vilya is only here for access to Spirit, why not use Song of Travel? It's cheaper, and you can put it on Galdor or Beravor so they can pay for Arwen/Sailor of Lune. Or you can cut Elrond's Counsel and rely on Gandalf for threat reduction, which opens up 6 slots for anything else you want.
