Correcte version of a Hobbit thematic deck to face the quests from the Black riders expansion, which includes the Bywater Sherriff. As you can see, the lore sphere will need to spend a large amunt of resources to play for allies, attachments and events. So attach Steward of Gondor to Pippin asap. Use reading effects and quest as hard as you can. Boost Merry's attack and Sam's defense by means of the several attachments and events at your disposal. Keep your threat low and use the synergies your allies provide. You could also add Fast Hitch to the deck to rocket up reading effects or, having such a low starting threat, you might consider exchanging Gandalf for the one from the Hobbit's Saga. I've had great fun playing the quests in the Black riders, and reckon thematic decks help players breath in the athmosphere of the flight to Rivendell.
