This a silly deck I built to see how much value I can extract from the nature of Trouble of Tharbad.
I put in some allies that get cheaper from secrecy. I put in a bunch of expensive unique allies with useful abilities that will hopefully get played via Vilya, Timely Aid, or resources from Resourceful or Hidden Cache.
Hopefully Daeron's Runea and Expert Treasure Hunter are enough card draw to get set up.
I added Path of Need and Sword Thain because the deck is already crazy so why not?
This deck takes a bit of work to get going but once it does, it is crazy. A first turn Vilya into Path of Need actually works since the quest starts with an active location. An early Warden is helpful to allow Treebeard to boost his willpower a couple points. Elrond's kids can handle most of the combat with occasional help from lookouts or Nalir. They can still quest considering the threat lowering nature of the quest and almost all enemies are orcs.
