So this scenario appeared easy when we looked through the encounter deck ... and that was very true.

This one really is a walk in the park so there's not much to say. I regret bringing such powerful decks (specifically the Outlands deck) but I wanted to try out the new Outlands cards I had not yet tried.

This is my recommendation: Use this scenario to try out new/thematic/non-optimal decks. You can probably beat this scenario with any deck that is not intentionally constructed to be garbage.

As long as you keep up with the villagers discards you'll be just fine. Use Alcaron to exhaust and keep villagers from being discarded, you wont need him to quest/attack/defend. Use his response.

Ghulat is a non-threat, very weak in terms of a "boss" type enemy. If you use Alcaron's ability, there wont be many dead villagers and therefore Ghulat wont attack for a huge amount. Additionally, doing this will keep your rescued villagers greater than the dead villagers and this is the win condition (after making 15 progress on Quest Phase 2b).

Part on the ease of this scenario is that your goal of minimizing dead villagers works to both of your goals, obviate the "boss" fight and meet your win condition. Usually there will be competing goals, here you achieve both together and thus it is very easy (and the encounter deck in gernal is wimpy, not many threats).

Have fun testing weak or thematic decks, don't take these decks just to smash the scenario !
