Tubarush 458

Tubarush has a newer deck inspired by this one: Dunedain - Wastes of Eriador

I enjoy this game the most when I can hold to a thematic element. I don't care about the most powerful decks. I want to be immersed in the story. My goal here is to put together a set of Dunedain "story" decks that run thru the Lost Realm and Angmar Awakened quests. This deck is for the 3rd quest - Deadman's Dike. (FYI - I am a solo deck 2-core player.)

Theme Notes: Based on the prologues, Aragorn and Amarthiul were not around for the first 2 quests - but both are now available - so I have exchanged them into the deck. Elrond is willing to help, so I'm not against putting a few Elven cards in the deck (Master). Also, later prologue/epilogues make it pretty clear Elrond is at most an ally - so no Elrond hero.

Finally, I'm not against including a few Ents (which I did not do) or Gandalf (which I did). I have no problem imagining they would be involved and helpful. Aragorn is around now, so Steward of Gondor can make an appearance.

From the previous deck, there have been massive changes. Halbarad is the only hero that sticks around. Will of the West is needed for this quest and I included some Tactics cards since Amarthiul can pay for them. One of the most important issues is to get Celebrian's Stone on Aragorn ASAP to pay for Will of the West (and Unexpected Courage). Since I have only 2 cores (and thus 2 Stones), I included a Song of Travel to help with this.

This deck is all about how fast can you get Celebrian's Stone and Sword That Was Broken onto Aragorn. If you do it fast enough, you might not even need the Warnings and the Burning Brand. Just have a way to deal with Thaurdir and quest hard.

Don't be tempted to use Elrond for the card draw --- healing or Condition removal only! Finally, I am considering removing the Heir of Valandil cards as well as Wingfoot and possibly the Horn's Cry to add in a couple of more allies and maybe some attack power buffs.
