Box of Hats 697
I've been testing three hero secrecy builds for a while and I'm quite satisfied with this one. I used to run Rivendell Scouts, but eventually found them to be too low impact, even at zero cost. Instead, I increased the number of high impact singleton Timely Aid targets.
A Watchful Peace is a card that I may drop in the future or depending on the quest. If you're in a position in which you are not drawing a shadow card, you can essentially take a free turn with it. Alternatively, Henamarth has revealed a terrible encounter card to me and A Watchful Peace combined with effects such as Asfaloth turns the location into the card for the turn and the next card can be drawn as a shadow. Lastly, in a quest such as Road to Rivendell, with its horrifying game-over shadow effects, it can turn an explored location into your shadow effect for the turn.
I have not tested this deck in multiplayer, but I'm quite happy with it solo.
