kattattack22 859

kattattack22 has a newer deck inspired by this one: Three Wolf Hunters for Wastes of Eriador

This deck worked better than I expected against Deadman's Dike. Having no allies negates or mitigates several negative effects in the quest.

Primary roles and what to attach to which hero:

Beravor defender and card draw

  • Armored Destrider
  • Burning Brand
  • Gondorian Shield
  • Dunedain Warning
  • first Steed of the North
  • second Song of Travel

Aragorn attacker

  • War Axe
  • a Sword of Numenor or Ranger Spear
  • Roheryn
  • first Song of Travel

Halbarad quester

  • Strider
  • Celebrían's Stone
  • Ranger Spear
  • second Gondorian Shield
  • second Steed of the North
  • Dunedain Warning

You don't necessarily need to rush flipping the contract playing this deck. It really needs time with only the weaker undead to worry about to set up Beravor as a defender and possibly Halbarad as a secondary defender. The deck tends to build resources which is good to move the warnings between Halbarad and Beravor as needed.

The feints are helpful to hold off early undead assaults. This should help get set up and Aragorn to clear out the board so Beravor can start drawing cards.

Aragorn with a War axe, a couple weapons, and Roheryn is very nice as it helps with managing multiple enemies.

Beravor is also top priority for Steed of the North to allow to draw cards after questing. Either an enemy won't be revealed and if no enemies are engaged then can draw or an enemy revealed and going to be engaged and want to use ability to draw during Travel. Halbarad is second because Aragorn can clear enemies pretty well and won't always have enemy engaged when Halbarad quests.

Song of Travels and Will of the West included as a just in case deck runs low. The higher deck count worked in my games but it was close.
