TheMisFitMan 347
This is a multiplayer deck that uses ‚The One Ring’ and the ‚Council of the Wise’ contract. It lacks willpower and location control for sure, so it should be paired with a strong questing deck.
Attach ‚The One Ring‘, ‚Strength and Courage‘, ‚Black Arrow‘ and a restricted weapon to Brand son of Bain, who can then one-shot most of the enemies around and further (if that enemy was engaged with another player) ready a character (e.g. ‚Warden of Healing‘ for another round of...well...healing).
Háma also gets some killing tools and - when declared as an attacker - can use his response to get back one of the events from your discard pile to play it once again. Even after nerfing Háma, this can compensate a little for the only-one-copy-of-each-card-restriction of the contract.
Beregond gets his armor (mind the cost reduction when playing these attachments on him!) and ‚Captain of Gondor‘ attached. If you play ‚Golden Belt‘ on him, combinations like ‚Spear of the Citadel‘ + ‚Gondorian Shield‘ + ‚Round Shield‘ or ‚Raiment of War‘ + ‚Gondorian Shield’ are possible. Add a ‚Raven-winged Helm‘ and you have a very solid defender for no cost.
There is another niche little combo, that keeps your deck filled with cards and lets you draw and play them again: If Háma and ‚Nori‘ team up on killing an enemy, you can use Hámas response, pick up an event from your discard pile, discard a card from your hand and then use Nori‘s response to put that discarded card right back under your deck. If you let ‚Bofur‘ search your deck for a weapon and shuffle it afterwards, the card Nori brought back to the bottom of your deck will be more likely to be drawn again.
‚Beorn‘ / ‚Giant Bear‘ should only be put into play by the combat action of the ‚Beorning Skin-changer‘ (too expensive otherwise).
