"I will throw it into Mound Doom myself, as I should have done long ago...." would have been something awesome for Elrond to say at his own Counsel.
Mainly for fun, but any advice is appreciated.
The deck is mainly geared towards making use of Elrond good base stats, his ability to pay for allies from all spheres, Vilya's usual awesomeness, Timely Aid shenanigans.
If things go well you should be able to put out 2 big allies each round.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the 1-cost attachment is usually, Light of Valinor but it could even be the second Master card if I draw the Light in my starting hand (by the actual ruling of Setup effect). Strider is kinda boring for me right now as the default choice for almost all Grey Wanderer decks, I would include it only if I was using Aragorn as the hero. I included both Captain's Wisdom and Timely Aid to have two possible outlets to play a second big ally each round (besides Vilya). I don't think I would usually need to play them both. The only other cards I might need the off-sphere play of the contract are Power of Command and the Spirit attachments until I get a Vilya. Captain's Wisdom can also be crucial for a turn 1 Vilya + Stargazer play. Your suggestion are fine but these days I am starting to enjoying more "casual" deck, where consistency is not so much needed, so I would rather stick with the many different allies (and keep all three of Elrond's children for theme), but I guess I could take out 1 master of the forge to include 1 Gleowine. Elfhem is still a mighty fine ally, with a good effect and good battle stats so I will definitely keep it. Rhovanion Outrider is a might fine ally in general for sure, but since I thought this deck more for solo play I see it as less useful then in an higher play count where you see more locations. I might exchange 1 Eagles of the Misty Mountains for 1 Meneldor though. |

what is your first 1-cost attachement? can understand the theme if its the light, but strider is better.
furthermore, i think, captains wisdom and and timely aid is to much leadership. you can only play one of them each round as he first card. and if you not get vilya early, there is 2 more non lore.
i would add at least one gleowine and 3 darons runes and 3 drinking song. would cut 2 captains wisdom, elrohir, elladan (to get them both has very low probability) 2 master of the forge then with that more carddraw there are no 3 master of the forge needed
i would skip the eagles and elfhelm with 3 rhovanion outrider, more flexibility.
