Wandering Burgler Version played on Card Talk Livestream. Only real change was put Legolas in for Azain. I haven't tried out the suggestions on the last deck yet. I don't recommend using this single hand solo against Intruders in Chetwood. The War Party ability and Outlying Homestead counter what this deck tries to do. It needs a deck to engage war party for it.
Basic idea is to leverage Bilbo's ability combined with direct damage from Gandalf and Descendent of Thorondor to clear enemies guarding Sting or Necklace of Girion. Also the Eagles of the North might discard a non-unqiue enemy guarding a card. Azain's direct damage ability is another possibility since can engage an enemy not guarding a card that shares a trait and have ability deal more damage to enemy in the staging area.
If Necklace is guarded by a location, then Sneak Attack + Meneldor or Meneldor + Flight of the Eagles + Meneldor again would clear most locations. Otherwise, Timely Aid putting some early Northern Trackers or Mirkwood Explorers into play can help clear the guarded location
Strider should be the main target of Grey Wanderer setup. If it is in hand than Fast Hitch is a good second choice.
The resource acceleration of Resourceful or Necklace helps pay for the expensive allies and build up questing power.
The Shirefolk and Gandalf can provide a lot of threat reduction to stay in secrecy and control engagements. Bilbo can become a strong attacker or defender with Sting and Support of the Eagles.
Sideboard
These cards could turn the deck into something that can handle more combat heavy quests or quests where having a low cost curve isn't a such a problem. Jtothemac suggested Short Cut to pull locations off a Guarded card which can be a neat track to add. Also Hobbit Pony to commit Bilbo after an enemy is revealed. It's only not in this list because I wasn't expecting to get Bilbo's damage in Intruders in Chetwood.
