When I first saw the Bond of Friendship contract, I did not think much of it. It seemed that in most cases having 4 heroes from all different spheres was a burden rather than a boon to begin with. The only archetype that seemed like it would not have insanely high threat was hobbits, but even still, having 4 hobbits will mean high threat. But there is one archetype that wants high threat: Gondor Valour.
By round two, you should be in valour and having fun there! Use Spirit Beregond to ensure that your threat doesn't get out of control at this precipitous level. If you need another defender, Denethor is here to defend if need be, and if not, he can use his action. Being Gondor, there are a plethora of resource passing abilities.
Interesting Hero Lineup! I really wanted to make Lore Denethor work for this deck, but I couldn't get away from the amazing resource smoothing of Leadership Denethor. Here is my take on the same idea:
