Took out Ithilien Guardians and Daeron's Runes for Stone of Elostirion and a few side quests.
Stone works really well for the scenario since there aren't any locations in the encounter deck. Guarded (location) fails to find a location and ends up unguarded.
The side quests aren't really necessary but they help give the deck something to do while stalling on a location to build up. I highly recommend using Scout Ahead to remove a Dwindling Supplies from the encounter deck if possible. This decks draws tons of cards and discarding down to 3 can be brutal.
Henamarth is great to get out early to see when you should play traps. Drowned Dead are best to engage, get Followed on, and Snare. Island Watchers have higher threat but they can't be optionally engaged. They best to get a Ithilien Pit on then Secret Vigil for threat reduction. Throngs of the Unfaithful are best to trap on Spikes because their ability to go back on top of encounter deck is annoying and messes up Henamarth's scrying.
This deck works really well for the scenario. I really didn't have much trouble at all. It was just long because of trying to find the Grotto Enterance and building resources to peek at Temple locations.
