With a starting threat of 50, you're eliminated from the game. When the One Ring leaves play, so is everyone else. Make sure to bring this to the next epic multiplayer event for maximum enjoyment.

Aug 21, 2020Wouldn't you lose as soon as you place your heroes, so before fetching The One Ring, thus "only" losing yourself? You could start at 49 threat (Lorefindel instead of Saruman?) and then use The Ring of Power... |
Aug 21, 2020Eagle of the North cannot be included in the deck... |
Aug 21, 2020Yeah, good point about eagle of the north. To be fair, the actual contents of the deck aren't very important :) |
Aug 22, 2020Weak grief. Best grief is to start with something like Smeagol + Saruman + (MotK Ioreth/Gleowine/Galion). Use Heed the Dream, Word of Command, Daerun's Rune, The Seeing Stone, Deep Knowledge, Mithrandir's Advice, etc. to card draw like crazy to find and play as many Doomed events as possible. Threat out everyone EXCEPT you, then go "everyone, it's ok, it's ok, I'll AVENGE YOU!" and then play Justice Shall be Done so you also lose at the end of the round. Same effect, but you waste much more of everyone's time and get to be the last person standing at the table. |
"They have a cave troll!"
