Consistent threat control (up and down), resource generation, and card draw. Hero abilities synergize well also: Frodo readies Fatty to defend or use his action to increase progress/raise threat. Sam readies himself in a pinch. With one copy of Unexpected Courage, I could regularly quest and fight with all 3 heroes.

All in all, I am pretty proud of this deck I put together. Once Frodo is appointed as Steward of Gondor, I felt like I had strong control over the game. I love how this deck gives me options, truly making me feel like a leader. It is up to me to constantly manage my threat each round and decide when it is worth it to take the threat hit. And using Frodo to guide his friends and reduce threat each round brings me joy (both thematically, and competitively).

Inspiration for this deck came from my love of hobbits and wanting to incorporate Fatty. I really like Fatty Bolger (I think he has such a cool looking card and unique ability). I really wanted to make him work, and I stumbled into a viable synergy with Sam and Frodo.

Deck contains some cards through Grey Havens. I am new to the game with few expansions. Used ring-bearer Frodo as if he was Leadership Frodo
