Dec 05, 2020I often play this deck in multiplayer games. The Unexpected Courages are for the dedicated sentinel defender across the table (Beregond, Grimbeorn, Erkenbrand, etc.). If you are playing this deck solo, you can swap them out for Fast Hitch, or any other card which helps with the scenario you’re playing. |
Dec 05, 2020In multiplayer it totally makes sense. Now that I think about it, in this deck there are cheaper Lore allies (Barliman, Gaffer, Gleowine, Quickbeam) than Spirit ones (Arwen), so maybe it would be better to save the Lore resources for these allies by playing Unexpected Courage instead of Fast Hitch. |
Song of Healing might be a really useful healing card here considering you can't use Wardens of Healing in a Fellowship deck. I don't understand the Unexpected Courage though, isn't Fast Hitch doing the same job only cheaper?
