As this deck will generate enough combat strength (attchements and Gimli himself), Aragorns shield reduction might mit be needed. Therefore, the spirt version of Aragorn might be a better choice. Also, with Elven-Light you can always spend your one and only blue resource. Anyhow, it seems that due to card distribution within the spheres the red one is better. This should give you a slightly faster start.
Cards in the sideboard are thought as a reminder which cards would be an option, too.
