This is meant to be played with grant12000's Duo Hunters deck with Haldir and core set Legolas (currently unpublished). It was also built for The King's Quest in Wilds of Rhovanion.

Basic idea is give Beregond Dunedain Warnings, Armored Destrier, and Mithral Shirt. Then Halbarad can help engage all the enemies and keep them off the partner Haldir and Legolas deck. Halbarad and Jubayr can be back up defenders. All the other allies are meant to quest.

Dunedain Warning, Arwen, Armored Destrier are top priorities for opening hand. Steward and Elven-Light together might be OK since they can help dig for those other cards. Steward generally will be better on Eowyn as Leadership cards aren't very expensive. It might be better to go on Halbarad if you get a lot of early leadership cards since many of them want to be played on Beregond ASAP. This said, the deck can run fine without Steward.

The side quests are helpful to complete during stage 1 of the King's Quest. Gather Information can be used to find either of the other side quests. Rally the West helps boost willpower. Double Back is the one that is best to see early to counter the stage 1 forced effect that can raise your threat significantly.
