This deck is specifically designed to counter the Riddle mechanic in Dungeons Deep & Caverns Dim. Almost every card is a 2-cost spirit ally. The only exceptions are:
- Song of Travel - to make Eomer's resources useable.
- Glorfindel - Because he can be played from the discard pile.
- Elven-light - Provides much needed card draw to fuel Lothiriel's ability.
