first attempt at using the grey wanderer contract, and I wanted it to be as thematic as possible by building the deck around hero Gandalf. Worked out very well!

Great feedback. I debated putting it in but decided against it because of the high cost of exhausting Gandalf to use the ability. That said, after testing the deck I found there were a lot of readying options available between Shadowfax and the contract itself so I will probably try including Narya on my next play. I will probably also switch things around to include 2 copies of unexpected courage as well as readying Gandalf was a key strategy for me playing this deck.
