Trying a new progression series, we'll see how long this lasts.
Note for this one - I played passage with the cards from the sideboard. I swapped to Son of Arnor x2 for Journey, which helps with the sniper and worgs, and in general is probably just strictly better for this deck (since ranged in solo is useless and Longbeard Orc Slayer is kind of tough to get out, even with Théodred's resource generation).
Rules:
- Can only use cards available at the time of release
- Play quests in release order - only exception - we are skipping Dol Guldar for the sake of keeping our sanity
- Once a deck is committed to for a particular quest, it cannot be changed
- When starting a new quest, the deck used must use a hero from that pack/box
- When starting a new quest, the deck used must include at least one other card from that pack/box
- Allowed to study encounter cards ahead of time to build around
- Cannot move onto the next quest until a win
- Use rules from the Grace of the Valar variant for losses (see post here: https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/271926-easy-mode-variant-cycle-campaign-variant/). Replay the quest with the appropriate number of tokens until a win - this is effectively the "score" for the quest. We ignore the hero rules since we're not really playing these as a campaign.
