This is one of my favorite quests in the game. This deck needed two tries to win - I threated out on the first game thanks to treacheries. Second game was a smooth and easy win.

Rules:

  • Can only use cards available at the time of release
  • Play quests in release order - only exception - we are skipping Dol Guldar for the sake of keeping our sanity
  • Once a deck is committed to for a particular quest, it cannot be changed
  • When starting a new quest, the deck used must use a hero from that pack/box
  • When starting a new quest, the deck used must include at least one other card from that pack/box
  • Allowed to study encounter cards ahead of time to build around
  • Cannot move onto the next quest until a win
  • Use rules from the Grace of the Valar variant for losses (see post here: https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/271926-easy-mode-variant-cycle-campaign-variant/). Replay the quest with the appropriate number of tokens until a win - this is effectively the "score" for the quest. We ignore the hero rules since we're not really playing these as a campaign.
