My goal here was to beat Deadmen's Dike with a deck using only Dúnedain heroes. It took me a little while, but I ended up with this deck. I fully admit that it's not perfect and does depend on getting certain cards out early but I had fun building a playing with it so I thought I'd share.
The main ideas here are to make Amarthiúl your main defender by getting Raiment of War, Ancestral Armor, and Armored Destrier on him. He gets pretty stout and is able to defend twice and discard a shadow card when fighting more than one enemy with this setup. Halbarad gets to be your attacker and will not exhaust to commit if you can stay engaged with at least one enemy. Works awesome if you can get Forest Snare on an enemy. I try to make Aragon my quester by getting Sword that was Broken and Celebrían's Stone on him as soon as possible. Celebrían's Stone being most important since it's the only way to get Unexpected Courage and the very important Will of the West (important for Deadmen's Dike specifically). I also usually put Strider on him so that he can quest for a bit more. Then I try to spread out the other stuff as needed.
Like I said, not perfect but I had fun with this deck and I was able to beat Deadmen's Dike a couple times in a row with it.

Feb 26, 2021I actually found your non-Three Hunters deck by accident last night lol. I think I will try something very similar to that. I like the barebones of both decks but of course they wont be able to beat every scenario and thats okay. Deckbuilding is just part of the fun. |

This looks like a great deck! I thought about doing a hero lineup similar to this without the contract. I'm glad you found success on it. It looks quite fun!
