Elrond is in this deck without Vilya ? Well actually this is a Gimli deck if you get a Dwarven shield, The Day's Rising, and Heir of Mardil on Gimliif he defends and takes damage he gets a resource token and ready's and if he defends and takes no damage he gets a resource token and ready's

Interesting idea. I can absolutely see Gimli being in an Elrond deck, but not Elrond being in a Gimli deck. I love the fact this exists.

There are some very questionable choices here: Brok (lol, what), lore of imladris, ever vigilant. I think you should cut some of the 3x attachments and add more draw to actually be able to get through your deck. Daeron's Runes, heed the dream, master of the forge are your friends. If you start drawing extra copies of cards in play with no way to use them it will cripple you

You shouldn't even consider a situation when Gimli with all of his attachments die, brok won't even become a hero in his place - you'll just get a terrible ally that won't save you anyway. If you're worried about gimli dying, just add more healing or ways to cancel damage - you can play honour guard via elrond's ability for example
