Hey there. New player here, looking to evoke the power of Elven Archery in a multiplayer setting. Nothing too surprising, some combat tricks packed into a Silvan deck.
You won't be able to quest much, but in return you are able to feather any enemy that so much as even looks at you or your Fellowship. Staging area attacks combined with massive ranged damage potential and abusing Rumil for huge plinks can smash the combat side of plenty of quests. As your heroes go to work the Silvan wave will start to grow and when you finally pop a huge Host with multiple allies on the field you should have generated so much value that the Encounter deck can't compete.
For Elvenking you can equip to Thranduil if you are under too much early pressure and need blocks, Haldir if you are the lowest threat and can abuse staging area attacks more by not being engaged, or Legolas for progress tokens on quests to help compensate for lack of questing throughput. I find myself almost always using Legolas, but all are valid options. I have sideboarded MotK Legolas, for those times when you know you have hard questing Fellowship members and you just want to draw some serious cards.
Any comments, tips or tricks are much appreciated. I tend to build on theme or lore first, and might not see some more game mechanic focused angles. Thanks for your time!
