Hey all! This is the first deck of a two deck fellowship which uses cards up to Foundations of Stone.

The idea behind the deck is to use heros which will be ready after questing.

Aragorn is an obvious choice with his ability to spend a resource from him to ready. He is the target for Steward of Gondor, Celebrian’s Stone and The Sword that was Broken. Celebrian’s Stone is important not only for its +2 Willpower, but it’s resource smoothing with Steward of Gondor.

Prince Imrahil also has built in readying when an ally leaves play. He combos mainly with Gandalf, Sneak Attack and Bofur’s play from hand ability.

Although Glorfindel doesn’t have built in readying, his cheap threat cost and the ability to have Light of Valinor attached to him makes him a great addition to the team.

Play Stategy

Mulligan pretty aggressively for Steward of Gondor over any other card. Getting Light of Valinor on Glorfindel and Celebrian’s Stone on Aragorn become the next important goal.

Hi! Nice deck (even to play it alone:-) )! Just a question: why the Son of Arnor? And why only one copy?

Good question. He ends up sitting in my hand most of the time when I do draw it. The card is good for its response by bringing an enemy over to the Ready Bro’s side since, you know, they should be ready to defend after questing and taking some initial pressure off of its partner deck. Also, it can grab something pesky out of the staging area. For solo, it probably loses some of its usefulness, but I have found it handy.
