Modified from https://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/951/back-to-basics-a-killer-deck-using-cards-from-1-core-set-1.0. Added cards from the 2 Player Starter to make some cards more reliable and rounded out the card pool with some things like Protector of Lorien for even more ability to get rid of extra cards plus boosting defense or willpower. Found two Lorien Guides to be really helpful with location control, willpower, and as chump blockers. Mulligan for Steward of Gondor. Generally Theodred is giving his resource to Eowyn or himself. Typically you want to use Gandalf to reduce your threat. Beorn is a fantastic target to discard to Eowyn or Protector of Lorien, then use Stand and Fight to bring him back. Ran this deck against The Hunt for Gollum and Conflict at the Carrock both on normal difficulty and won first try on both. Definitely got lucky with Carrock as the two Hill Trolls didn't come out and I was able to recruit Grimbeorn objective ally, but a few Gandalfs and The Galadhrim's Greeting kept my threat well below 34.
