Deck i made to play The road Darkens quests (SAGA). i wanted something thematic . I wanted to play the fellowship of the ring (well some of them) as in the story.
Why 2 of most cards? because that deck can draw. Gandalf combined with expert treasure hunter and his staff can draw 1-3 extra cards a turn.
Aragorn is the defender and the steward of Gondor wich enable the Armored Destrier on him. Gandalf is there to quest or to smash ennemies according to what the fellowship is facing. The hobbits are questers, Sam with Celebrian Stone can quest for 5. The allies are solids, Galadriel brings in the attachments and help the questing. Elrond heals and is very well rounded. Ranger of Cardolan is an MVP who can come in, chump block and be back for next turn.
This deck can be played outside Saga : remove Frodo , fellowship of the ring(2) and frodo intuition(2). Add : flame of Anor(1), Gandalf staff(1) , Wizard Pipe(1) and a Ranger of Cardolan(1).
Gandalf and Aragorn are powerhouses in this deck, try it!
