Discard Pile

I admit this deck is a little rough, but when I saw how The Ash Mountain made you discard down to forty cards, I heard Caldara say with grim determination, “This is what I was born for!”. The idea is to have a large deck so that enough allies are discarded letting Caldara do her trick on turn one. This preferably happens after drawing Imrahil or Stand and Fight or some other way to get him in play. Swordthain is also in the mix as another way to replace Caldara so that I can get at least three allies out of the deal. There’s a good chance of discarding Hidden Cache giving us enough resources to play Imrahil on turn one. It’s a bit janky and clearly not fully formed but with a little luck, you could end up with a couple of Ered Luin Miners, three good allies, maybe enough resources for another ally, and still have three heroes on the first turn. This deck also includes a bunch of discard pile shenanigans to avoid having to draw any more cards from the deck than necessary. They say everyone has a plan until someone punches them in the jaw and this game is very good at that. I’ll update after enduring some punches from the Ash Mountain.
