With Gollum raising your threat by 4 each round, Return to Mirkwood is a tough quest solo. Dáin Ironfoot is the hero of this pack. I stuffed the allies with dwarves to take advantage of his ability, as well as adding decent questers. I went with Denethor as the lore hero because of his lower threat and ability to send encounter cards to the bottom of the deck (this quest has some nasty ones).
