Solo Restricted Pool - Progression Deck

Part of my YouTube Progression series using a "RESTRICTED" pool. This means you can only use cards from the quests current cycle and those cycles before hand.

This Deck was made for the quest The Watcher in the Water

Deck Piloting

  • Mulligan for Erestor
  • Use Erestor to discard Henamarth Riversong
  • Play Henamarth Riversong using Stand and Fight
  • Try to get an ally out each turn as feed for monsters (This is why it is called "Transient Spirits")
  • 6 Attack can kill any monster in deck besides The Watcher.
  • Prince Imrahil untaps as characters leave play. This means he can quest or block and still attack most turns as monsters will be eating your spirit allies.

Quest Piloting

  • Eat unblockable dmg with Frodo Baggins as threat.
  • Attack "Grasping Tentacle" with a chump in addition to damage dealers
  • Black Uruks discard attachments so keep spare in hand (do not use Erestor on them)
  • Black Uruks will also target encounter card attachments. Discard them first.
  • Solving Doors of Durin can instantly end quest. The best time to use Henamarth Riversong and solve the Door is before end of combat to avoid The Watcher eating or snipping charicters.
