Denison 633
Synopsis
Designed to handle campaign quests, particularly the first scenario, Shadows of the Past (SOTP), with its Hide tests.
Design
Lots of readying effects for Eowyn and Beregond. First Unexpected Courage (UE) goes to Eowyn so she can quest and do a Hide test. Mulligan if no UE or Miravor shows up.
Most of the allies come and go, so Strider on Eowyn will give her a cheap willpower boost all game.
Give Spare Hood and Cloak to an attacking hero that can ready Beregond in a pinch.
Swap out Lampright for Refugee in solo, but do so at your peril. The little bearded dude is a game saver!
Swap out Power of Orthanc for one of the steeds if there are no Condition Attachments.
Performance
This troupe managed to beat the first couple of campaign quests solo and one round of four player SOTP after several tries.

Sep 06, 2016Good call. Depending on the rest of the fellowship I would definitely add in 2x Light of Valinor and Snowmane and swap out Spare Hood and Cloak and Star Brooch. |
Sep 06, 2016Boy, was this a fun deck to play alongside of. It did a lot of things well, not just the hide test, and I think one could easily start a conversation about whether or not Beregond is good for the game. That dude, with readying effects, is bonkers. He just shrugs off nazgul attacks as though they were nothing. Great deck. |
Sep 07, 2016Boo to hide tests. Long live Cirdan. I definitely vote for Light of Valinor like the people above me. Otherwise, looks fun. |
Would defenatly add some light of valinor for Cirdan.
