Khazad Aimenu!
The Dwarf swarm lives. A strategy almost as old as the game itself.
Coming in as a new player I instantly gravitated to the Dwarf themes of mining and swarming. The Dwarf starter deck is arguably the best pre-made deck. I saw early consecutive victories with the deck right out of the box, but a quest to find more sets had led me to the current variation above.
It’s fairly standard, the decks objective is to overcome quests by having more guys than the quest can handle. The standard un-teched list comes with little to no location control. Instead we rely on having an army to overwhelm. A few tricks like A Test of Will allows us some amount of control.
Recursion is an on going theme with Ered Nimrais Prospector, and Will of the West works especially well in this deck as we essentially get to rebuild our deck after we have discarded it.
