Legolas let that one Uruk get by and explode the walls of Helm's Deep, and he feels really, really bad about it.

Vowing never to let such a regrettable incident (and embarassment, a la Gimli) occur again, he set about working on his archery, and learned how to ride those Eagles from the Black Gate, to survey the battlefield in anticipation of said Uruks in the future. He commissioned a Bow of Yew, famed for its ranged capabilities.

The idea of this deck is to use a bow for what it's best at, killing enemies before they attack you up close. As such, it includes Hands Upon the Bow, Quick Strike, and Great Yew bow (in combination with low starting threat of 22). Adding to the tension of playing this deck, it includes zero copies of Feint, despite how easy it would be to afford (in truth, I ran out of copies in my binder).

There's no dedicated defender among the heroes, though I suppose Frodo can take the role if you're willing to sacrifice one of your main sources of will power. Your defender is basically Legolas. Frodo can take an undefended attack if it comes to it, but it's generally better not to let that happen, as it nerfs the Great Yew Bow.

The Eagles help get Legolas's attack up, via Support of the Eagles. Eagles of the Misty Mountains contributes to the deck's otherwise mediocre questing (while Legolas pseudo-quests, Hands Upon the Bow helps in this regard since you can remove enemies in the quest phase). Arwen can give other players sentinel and help you out, I suppose.

Hour of Wrath is pretty insane in multiplayer, and with Eowyn. Speaking of Eowyn, the Quick Strike/Eowyn combo is also pretty good...
