Shamgi 49

A multiplayer ranged deck, focused on reliably removing enemies from other players fields, often before those enemies get to attack.

Bard, Haldir, and Legolas all bring powerful attacks with ranged built in, both on their own and together. The deck seeks to take advantage of that, relying on other decks to engage enemies so the deck can kill them. Haldir is the best set to accomplish this, using his ability to kill problem enemies. Bard is a plenty good attacker already, but with Elf Friend and stacked with a couple attachments, he can often do incredible damage to even very powerful enemies. Legolas is no slouch either, and gives the deck some ability to help with the quest.

Most of the events are built towards simply attacking. Hands upon the Bow and Quick Strike do obvious work, while Skyward Volley can make for a quick kill of an enemy. Knife Work can be played on someone else to soften enemies up, but ideally it's played on yourself to allow your heroes to draw plenty of cards and find those extra attachments you want. Arrows from the Trees is the odd man out, but I do play with a deck that can raise enemy threat, so it becomes useful. Certain quests is can also be very, very powerful in.

Attachments ideally rotate as the game goes by, though I've put them in mostly to cover all areas. Haldir likes a Blade/Galadhrim Bow and a Warhorse for his effect, while Bard and Legolas like all of them, depending on the kinds of enemies to be dealt with. Lembas is mostly in the deck as something for Lore resources to be spent on, and usually get placed on allied heroes, though the deck can use them as ready mechanics as well if there's no need.

Allies mostly serve a support role. Galadhon provide spot removal of damaged enemies, while Rumil can remove a single big target reliably. Pursuing provides even more direct damage while allowing you to retrigger effects from them both. Silvan Tracker just lets you keep your heroes healthy from random damage, and Master of the Forge does his thing.

This deck looks awesome, I hope I get the chance to try it out soon. I'm curious though, what situations do you use Arrows from the Trees for?

I play with a dude who runs things like Take No Notice, Advance Warning and other ways to increase the threat of enemies. There's other cards that could certainly be run instead, off the top of my head Foehammer might just be the thing, though I've found the deck draws just fine already. Hour of Wrath is another good card, though hopefully you don't have that many enemies to kill as it is. On the Lore end, there's tons of random events and attachments that can be played for various benefits. Part of me keeps the card in because even though it might not always be useful, it just suits the tone of the deck so well.
