SleepingStar 70

Dwarf themed deck for the Dwarrowdelf cycle - has been successful through all 9 quests both in solo and double-handed.

  • Use the mining abilities of Thorin Stonehelm, Zigil Miner, Erebor Guard and Well Equipped to accelerate your board state in the early game.
  • Use recursion abilities such as Dwarven Tomb, Reforged and Stand and Fight to play the mined cards from your discard pile.
  • Keep your threat low through either Nori's ability and Ever My Heart Rises to minimise enemy engagement whilst building up your defence.
  • Azain's ability can be helpful to eliminate enemies that stay in the staging area and cannot be engaged.

Sideboard to be used largely for dealing with Durin's Bane in Shadow and Flame, although can be swapped in to deal with some of the renowned treacheries and enemy abilities in this cycle than can eliminate your heroes in one fell swoop. The intention was to avoid using clutch cards such as Feint and A Test of Will, hence only in the sideboard for emergency use.
