When you throw Grima and Ents into a blender, you get a cocktail made of some of my favorite things in this game. That itself isn't anything new, but throwing Narya into the mix makes things really interesting. Suddenly, Ents are much swifter than they appear and enemies are rethinking their career trajectories. By far my favorite combo in the deck is having a Booming Ent use a Grappling Hook, not only because it works, but because the mental image makes me chuckle every time.

Mar 29, 2016Definitely. You don't have to worry about raising other player's threat with Grima, and it has a nice balance of combat and questing. |
Mar 29, 2016Thank you! Out of curiosity, whgy Deep Knowledge and not Daeron's Runes? For the resource generation? I also appreciate a non steward deck! |
Mar 30, 2016Good question. You could easily substitute Daeron's Runes. I like Deep Knowledge as it gives me a chance to draw cards and trigger Keys of Orthanc if I'm not planning on using Grima's ability that turn. If it's a really threat heavy quest then I think Daeron's is the right call. |
How does this look for 1 hand solo? Think it will work?
