Just trying out a few different hero's with this that I haven't used before just to see how they get on. Namely Tactics Aragorn, as I tend to use the Leadership version still a lot, Amarthuil as there a newer addition to the collection and given the theme of the deck was always going to be Dunedain Halbarad seemed like a good fit then.
The deck is very threat heavy and doesn't have much in the way of healing either which could be tricky for some quests especially. But it does have a lot of solid flexible stats and plenty of ways to ready people as well if needed with some of there own looking at Halbarad for example.
I mostly tried to stick to theme then and pick a lot of cards that would fit the ranger idea of a deck. Lots of ways to bolster the hero stats as well, a few of Aragorn's own little cards, a lot of cheaper allies one or two more expensive.
A handful of events feint always useful, sneak attack as with three gandalf's why not, and hidden cache as i've never tried that either and thought it was worth a go.
