Apr 18, 2017I gave this deck six tries to duplicate your efforts against the Journey to the Cross Roads scenario and failed each time. I was able to beat it once using easy mode. That bloody scenario completely ruins campaign mode or any hope of a thematic deck! |
Apr 11, 2019I'll try this deck out for Journey to the Crossroads, which is currently a gigantic pain in the *ss. I have 2 solo decks left to try on "easy" mode (it's anything BUT easy). Stanford's The One Deck is totally out. Doesn't really do much for this quest. The deck needs more tailoring. This one may do it if I incorporate Gerrymander's variations. Although GoblinKing's comment is a little disheartening. I agree, though, that this quest totally ruins campaign mode. I had to get rid of all my boons/burdens because there's no hope on campaign mode at all to beat this quest. Next time I play through the Saga series, I won't even do campaign mode. It's just useless, in my opinion. |

I love this deck! I used a variation of it to crush Journey to the cross roads. I swapped in Lore Bilbo for pippin, gleowine for brandybuck, and Ancient Mathom for even more ridiculous card draw. I found it really necessary as in order to really get this deck going you need all of the key cards in all the right order (elf friend, THEN riv blade, THEN foe-hammer). Great deck!
